India questions
Before you plan
Which India tour packages do you plan from Ahmedabad?
We have 18 ready-made India itineraries, from 3 to 11 nights: the Golden Triangle (with or without Ranthambore), Rajasthan from Udaipur to Delhi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Varanasi, Rishikesh, Shimla, Manali, Kasauli, Dharamshala and Amritsar, Ajanta, Ellora and Goa, Kerala, and Madurai, Rameswaram and Kodaikanal. Each one is tailored to your dates, hotels and pace before anything is booked.
What is the best time to visit Rajasthan and the Golden Triangle?
October – March. The days are warm and the nights cool. April to June is very hot, and July to September brings the monsoon.
When should we go to Shimla, Manali or Dharamshala?
March – June and September – November; December – February for snow. Roads to the higher passes, such as Rohtang, open on their own seasonal schedule, so we plan those days around the conditions.
What is the best time for Kerala and Tamil Nadu?
September – March. The monsoon (June to August) is lush and quieter, and well suited to Ayurvedic treatments.
How many days do we need for Kerala?
Five nights covers the classic loop of Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady and a houseboat night in Alleppey. With eight nights you can add Kumarakom and a beach stay in Kovalam, finishing at Trivandrum airport.
Can you combine two regions of India in one trip?
Yes. Popular combinations include Rajasthan with Kerala, the Golden Triangle with Varanasi, Ellora with Goa, and Kerala with Madurai and Rameswaram. We plan the flights and drives between them so the route stays comfortable.
Do the itineraries include hotels, transfers and sightseeing?
We arrange hotels in the category you choose, private transfers by car, and guided sightseeing as described day by day. Flights or trains to the starting city can be added. You receive an itemised quote before you book.
